Beautiful place right next to the beach, loved our stay here!

Great. Ac was cold

Upon arrival, we noticed first thing how stuffy and smelly the unit was - due to the window unit AC not working. Maintenance was fairly quick with repair but made us feel a bit uncomfortable being a bit flirtatious. To top off our uneasy feeling the lock to the front door is faulty!! The code worked the first time opening the door and thankfully there is an emergency key. No elevator so young kids and lots of luggage/groceries are hard to tote up and down 3 flights. Honestly felt very dingy inside and out. Our feet were dirty after walking around on the unit floor barefoot. Luckily very nice and friendly neighbors and a great location. Ice cream place across the street is great at night time!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at By The Sea. The location was great. The pool area was well-maintained, and the beach was just outside. Everything we needed was located in the unit. Parking was tricky, as there are not a lot of spaces, but we always found a spot. I would recommend this place to friends who are looking for a beach get away!

I've been staying at Coastal Waters for years & even before that with my parents as a kid because the location is perfect. While I understand the building itself is old, it seems actual remodels are never done in these condos. Just some paint & updated decor. For a quick weekend stay for a couple of people, it's fine. But one major thing that would have improved our stay would have been a thorough cleaning. Dirt smudges on the shower wall. Bed skirt needed to be washed as it had several spots on it. Pillow shams had food them. Coffee table was not wiped & had crumbs and sand left on it. We were not left an entire roll of toilet paper but less than half a roll. The bent towel rack on the wall is an easily replaceable item. While I appreciate the rack above the toilet for towel storage, it makes it difficult to flush the top-button toilet. And not having any sort of air flow in the bathroom can be rough. All in all we were happy to be so close to the beach & made the most of our stay.

Downside was that the bedroom was very warm.
I would however stay again bc it is a great location and quiet too.

It was my 6th stay at Coastal Waters. It’s a cute small property and I just enjoy it for the ease, the pool and the location. The condo this time was just what we needed! I’d stay at this particular condo again for sure!

Perfect little girls get away... Although we don't live too far away, it's always nice to come to the beach to relax and enjoy the ocean...Besides not having an elevator up to the 3rd floor, which was actually a good workout at the end of the day...we really enjoyed ourselves. The place was super Cute and Beachy and had everything we needed, the beds were clean and comfy, the a/c worked well and the kitchen was pretty well equipped with what u need (although it could use a better coffee maker) ...The pool was amazing and every single person we came across was so nice...I highly recommend the restaurant across the street (SoNapa Grill) and having 7-11 right there was really handy...we never had to use our vehicle, everything we needed was right there...Thumbs Up!

Everything was as stated, there was a small issue with the door lock, but it just needed new batteries, and they responded quickly and were very helpful.

The ocean was beautiful and the room was clean, comfortable, and beach chic.

Nice place, got locked out of room a few times because the lock kept getting stuck. Once we figured it out it was fine after. Great place quick ocean access and nice pool.

We enjoyed the cute condo. The exterior was a little beat up from the past hurricanes.

My husband and I had a great getaway weekend! The room was exactly how it's described. It was very comfy & cozy. We will definitely be back!! Great host!

Looked just like the photos. No surprises. The building is right on the beach and super easy access to the pool. Kitchen had more then I expected. 5 min drive to publix and starbucks. Wish condo building would invest money in some umbrellas for the pool side chairs. They only have it for the round tables. Just a suggestion but not related to this specific owner.

The AC was not loud in the bedroom but it didn't feel warmer then the living room. I think it is a great choice for the price point!

We had a short but wonderful stay at By the Sea. I was looking for a place we would have easy access to the beach and this was it. It was well equipped with everything we needed. There was an issue when we first arrived but the host was quick to respond and the issue was promptly taken care off. Our family will definitely be back!

Place was very nice, quiet and clean, cute decor…kids loved pool and quick access to the beach… only issue we had was the a/c unit in bedroom is really loud but even with that we would probably stay again if in the area

This location is great for families. There were loads of other families and children in the pool and about the property. Direct and private access to the beach was a must for us so that was great.
The view from the balcony is as described, obstructed. And I mean no matter where you sit you can’t see the ocean. You have to lean over the balcony to see.
Easily fits a family of 4 without feeling too tight.

My biggest complaint, the sound of the air conditioner in the bedroom. When put on a cold (low or high) it rattled the window so loudly that we slept without cool air because if not, you’d get zero sleep.

Clean, peaceful, very close to the beach!

Very clean and overall comfortable - cute decor and right on the beach! Very firm beds and couch for sleeping, but otherwise exactly as we expected. Host was super nice and it worked out to check in a little early which was awesome!! 🙂

The condo was comfortable and clean. The decor was cute and had a nice beach them without being too cheesy. We had plenty of room to spread out, and the closeness of the beach was spectacular!! The process to get the keys and get our luggage up was a bit of a process, as there is very little parking up front. We were lucky to be able to park on the side, but otherwise would be expected to park across the road and walk across. Please also keep in mind it is the third floor, so there are a lot of stair. Several in the back appeared to be crumbling from underneath. The bedroom ac was extremely loud when on the cool setting, but we just switched it to fan. Overall we had a pleasant stay, and would absolutely return!!!

One thing to note about this place is that it is on the third floor , there is only one parking pass . The Ac units make a lot of noise and the ax in the bedroom does not work well. But I loved the fact that this place had beach stuff like floats and chairs , umbrellas . Overall good place.

Very nice, clean and nicely decorated in “beachy” decor. Good location. Only drawback was three flights of stairs and no elevator.

By The Sea is a very nice condo that is perfect for a get-away. While the balcony looks out on the parking lot instead of the ocean, I appreciated the cleanliness, great communication, and easy access as we made a last minute reservation. Would happily go there again!

the stay was great me and my family enjoyed ourselves, especially my daughter she loved it, she calls the place the beautiful beach house.

Great place to stay! Tastefully furnished, full kitchen with appliances and all utensils needed to cook. Great communication with the owner, right on the beach, and convenient to everything in New Smyrna Beach.

Terrific and cozy warm little spot well appointed very very clean

The location was amazing. Right on the ocean. The water was to rough to get in this weekend due to the winds but having a pool helped make up for it. The condo was very clean and the perfect size for us. Having a full kitchen helped with the cost of not having to eat out every night. The beds were comfortable and provided with a lot of extra pillows, just the way I like to sleep. Being on the 3rd floor gave us a great view of the ocean. The host was great and answered all my questions, even when I totally forgot it was Easter

This place was perfect for us! We loved the beach right in the back yard and the closeness to everything. We would stay again!

This 3rd floor end unit was perfect for our little get-a-way for the weekend. New Smyrna Beach is quiet little spot if you want a break from the everyday hustle and bustle. There’s a great little taco and ice cream spot right across the street. It’s not a far drive from Daytona Speedway and Daytona Beach. The unit we stayed in did not have a beach view unless you leaned over the balcony a little. There’s no elevator but the stairs are not bad. Great easy access to the beach and there are grills on site for use if needed. We definitely would stay here again, just in an ocean front unit.

Very clean, exactly like the pictures/description, amazing beach access and view, wonderful hospitality, and easy access!

The third floor unit had the perfect layout for our needs, the condo was clean and well outfitted, and the pool/beach access is wonderful. All communication with our host was fantastic, and we look forward to staying here again!

We overnighted here on our way meandering around FL. It was super clean and well equipped. It is the kind of place you could easily stay a week and be very happy! Close to Flagler and the beach offers drive or no drive options right near the property.

Great little place on the beach in New Smyrna. walking distance to So Nappa Wine Bar and Chases on the Beach restaurant and bar. only 2.5 miles from Flagler Ave. Had a great time staying their with a friend for a nice weekend staycation:)
