By The Sea was a nice little getaway. It was very clean, updated and quiet. We did have trouble checking in only because we weren’t sent a code for the front door. However, after contacting the manager we got a quick response. I would recommend a few extra bath towels. The decor was very nice and the bed was comfortable. My husband and I throughly enjoyed our time. We would definitely come back! Thank you By The Sea.

This stay was amazing. The condo is so cozy and cute, tacos and ice cream across the street, a few walking distance restaurants, and enough pots and pans stocked up in the kitchen if you want to cook! You can hear the waves from the bed, and being a few feet from the beach is just priceless. Thank you for an amazing stay?

This looks like a motel that has been redone to be apartments. The air flow was in the tv area and stopped going into the bedroom and it was HOT all night while you sleep. It’s dingy. It looks like they threw some paint on the wall and pulled a sofa and said done. I would not stay here again.

Had a lovely stay here, I would highly recommend booking with By The Sea. My room was super clean and it came with a great view where I was able to watch the waves from the bed!

The decor is absolutely perfect for a beach stay, and the location of the unit couldn't be better! Just wish they'd provide creamer for coffee, and soap to shower - seems like basic items to provide. It was frustrating to follow the check-in instructions sent mutliple times by AirBnB to only find out while attempting to access the unit (in the rain mind you) that it's old instructions, and that you need to follow a message that the host sends you in the app. Also could have done without the attitude when one calls to figure out how to access the unit - update your check-in information on AirBnB to provide a much better check-in experience. Prepare to end up on top of one another while you sleep as the bed is sunken in the middle. On check-out day, if the cleaning lady would not knock 15 minutes early to rush one to leave, it would make it a much more pleasant departure - especially since it's a $85 cleaning fee. Lastly, prepare to hear every step from the upstairs unit, it's loud.

You cannot beat this location! We loved being right on the beach and being able to see the ocean from the bedroom. We also enjoyed using the pool, which was clean and not at all crowded. Lots of great restaurants and shopping close by. A little place right across the street with great ice cream. We didn’t have any issues with parking. The unit was clean, nicely decorated, and the air conditioning kept the unit very cool, which was great after a long hot day.

Enjoyed our long weekend. Location!! location!! The location can’t be beat. Take 20 steps and you are at the beach. The taco place across the street is amazing!
Make sure you bring your own supplies and toiletries.
Also they don’t provide beach towels or beach chairs/umbrella… but we brought our just in case.

Place looks exactly like the pictures. Kitchen was fully stocked. Everything was as described. Steps to the beach. I highly recommend this beautiful place.

We will definitely be back. Perfect location. The scenery was breathtaking. The bed and pillows were EVERYTHING and I’ve never said that about anywhere other than my own bed.

Nice little spot right on New Smyrna Beach, and that’s no joke! The condo was maybe 30 yards from the entrance to the beach. It is a great spot for a couple to get away with newly renovated interior and furniture. I would love to stay here again as it accommodate my partner and I perfectly. Great little place!

This was a perfect place to stay a quick beach weekend! very clean, nice condo area right on the beach with a pool as well! Only downsides was being able to hear everyone’s steps up the stairs/ right above us, which couldn’t be helped, so it’s alright! had a great stay, very close to local restaurants and perfect beach location. if you have kids beware the beach does allow cars to drive on!

I had a great time staying here for my birthday. I spent majority of my time on the beach relaxing and reflecting on life. This was a well needed trip for me and staying here made it possible. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to be close to the beach and wants a host who is helpful and courteous to their guests.

Perfect little place on the beach! The condo was just what we needed for a weekend getaway. The space was clean, the pool was great after being at the beach all day, and the access to the beach was very convenient. Our host was very responsive when we needed a key, which was super helpful. Our friends stopped by and loved the space so much that they’ll be booking a stay soon, too!

It was a great stay for a three day weekend

Our favorite part was the patio. We could just sit, listen and watch the waves roll in. The pool was great. It was easy to navigate in the area.

This is a great location. The condo is in an older building but completely remodeled and clean. AC unit in the bedroom is a window unit and a little noisy. Not a lot of parking but there is a lot across the street that is available. I will definitely come back if I’m in the area. Overall good value.

Beautiful rental…very clean…had all the necessities….great view from the patio….comfortable beds…awesome communication from owner with any questions and they were nice enough to move my dates because of a medical issue….thanks so much ….looking forward to staying again soon

Very comfortable stay!

I really enjoyed my stay! The unit was very clean and organized. The beach was just steps away and the pool just outside the unit. It’s located in a central location in New Smyrna Beach so I was just a 5 minutes drive away from grocery stores, restaurants and entertainment. I’m looking forward to booking with By The Sea again!

This place is even better than described. Was awesome watching the sunrise. Very updated and loved having 2 ac units in the condo. Nice and quiet complex. Will for sure be back.

Perfect stay right on the beach, a few steps away from the beautiful scenery and sounds of the waves. Patio and front door views of the beach and ocean, nicely remodeled unit, perfect for a small or long stay, quiet, and peaceful. We would stay here again, perfect place to unwind. If someone complains or nitpicks about something, then they may be trying to find something wrong during their stay. Hosts were perfect.

Fantastic little condo! Well appointed for its size. A beautiful double head shower. We very much appreciated that there was coffee available ❤️ Unfortunately beach access was not available due to hurricane damage. But the view from the patio was delightful. Overall we were incredibly pleased with our stay

Our only complaint is we wish our timing wouldve allowed us to stay longer! This place was more than we expected. Great location, parking was a breeze. The checkin instructions were helpful. Your steps away from the beach. We can't wait to stay here again.

Cutest little spot! A perfect place for a getaway to enjoy the beautiful beach and delicious food of NSB! We went to the Garlic and it was the perfect place to still enjoy the beach, sunrise, and quaint beach town but just pop over to the Garlic and Norwoods!

We stayed here the week of our wedding and it was amazing! The room was clean and a great value for how close it is to the beach. We had a great time staying here and will definitely be back!

Absolutely PERFECT !! Has everything you need , first floor side view of ocean straight from bed BEAUTIFUL private entrance to beach right out your door , pool , grill , amenities , the whole 9 yards. Great stay !!!

Such a beautiful place to stay!
This condo is decorated perfectly, and it truly helped us feel more relaxed while on vacation.
Love the addition of a/c in the bedroom, it was definitely needed.
Parking was a tad tricky at certain hours, but it wasn’t terrible, and the lot across the street was never full.
Would go back again and again (and probably will)!

We had a great experience for my husbands birthday. Rest and relaxation in abundance! Saw a few comments about the bedroom being hot but the host has supplied a separate ac, fan, and dehumidifier to keep the room cool and we had no issues with being too hot at night. The condo is literally a few steps from the beach which was just perfect for a day spent at the beach and a moonlit walk after dinner. Loved the location and the beach was fabulous! Highly recommend!

This spot is STUNNING. The location is unbeatable and the room itself is updated, beautiful, and clean. Our stay was perfect and peaceful and we will definitely be staying again. Just as advertised!

This was a great condo! It was very clean and quiet. Just steps to the beach and pool. There are many great restaurants close by, but without the busy feel of Daytona.
Be sure to bring beach/pool towels with you.
The only negative was dealing with all the keyed gates to get out to the beach or parking lot. Also, sitting on the patio in the morning or evening was a no-go because of the biting midges.

Great place to stay! Location is perfect, right on the beach and within minutes to Flagler Ave and downtown NSB! Would definitely stay again!!

We stayed in unit 115 on the first floor and it was perfect for our little get away. You need your keys from the lock box before you can get into the other entrances of the property. There’s a back entrance that will take you directly to the beach. You can take this way to chases to eat it’s just up a head. Ate at SoNapa which is also walking distance across the street. There’s a cute little taco place as well called tacos and ice cream. The unit is about 20 minutes south from the ponce light house which you can climb. Highly recommend, would stay there again.

What a great stay! We will 100% be back! Truly better than expected.

The only minuscule critique we had was to upgrade the bed, it is NOT bad but it also isn’t great! With everything else being better than an expected it was still an amazing experience.

Laying in bed on a lazy Sunday morning watching and listening to the ocean was perfection!

The condo is very clean and also well appointed. It has recently been remodeled and all the furnishings and appliances are new. The location is perfect as you are not so close to Flagler that the noise will keep you up at night but it's only a five minute uber/car ride to get to the action. The condo it literally on the beach and has a great pool and two grills for those wanting to cook their own. There are plenty of great places to eat literally five minutes away. There is an ice cream and pizza place literally across the street. You can walk a few hundred yards down the beach to Chase's beach front bar and restaurant for a cocktail or snack without getting in a car. Last thing I will say is the owner communicates very well and is responsive. Do yourself a favor and come stay in this unit. Very good value.

This is a great little getaway place to enjoy right on the beach. My husband and I enjoyed our stay here, just steps to access to the beach. It was clean and nicely renovated and it had everything we needed, it also has a patio that faces the ocean, so you can sit out and look out over the ocean and hear the waves. If you had a question, you were answered in a timely manner. I would definitely come back again. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

This condo is a gem. It’s a perfect stay for a couple or small family. We loved the easy beach access, the beautiful renovated room, the clean decor, it was a comfortable place to stay after a day at the beach and a nice close drive to fun shops downtown not to mention a few locations to walk to. We will be back!

As advertised, great place.

This place was great! While it is a small condo, it was perfect for my husband and I! It had everything we needed. You walk right out to either the beach or the pool. You do have to have keys on you constantly to get through certain gates, and that was a little inconvenient, however, not enough so to not go back. It was very clean and nicely furnished. I would recommend to anyone!

This cute getaway is perfectly located with lots of beach privacy yet also easy access to Flagler. You will have such a great vacation here!

We absolutely loved the place, it was sparkling clean and the location is perfect. Renovations are beautiful inside. Great communication with the hosts. The parking lot fills up quickly, so remember you can park across the street also. We would stay here again!

A+ experience

Here is a great spot to hang by the beach, several steps away from the private and fenced in grounds. There’s an amazing and accessible playground on the beach just a few minutes’ walk south, and enough restaurants within walking distance that you don’t need to drive anywhere. We will stay here again.
