Cozy Beachside Cottage Studio Toggle favorite

Cute place overall. Easy to find and right across the street from the water. Entry door leads right into the bedroom which was odd but didn't bother me too much. The bed was extremely soft so probably not ideal for those who need something even slightly firm. The bedroom also has a ton of windows that let in a lot of natural light. The shower was extremely frustrating to deal with. The glass door in the picture doesn't slide, instead there's a shower curtain that you have to pull to but even then it doesn't keep water from getting outside the shower. The bathroom in general didn't feel very clean and there was sand all over the couch. The window unit ACs did a very good job at keeping the place cool and comfortable. I also liked having the Roku for the TV!

Overall, we enjoyed a good stay! The location made it worth every dollar, as we were able to walk to the beach every day and night. The hosts were very communicative and nice, as well, and were there when we needed anything. We had the basics, but for a couple who enjoys making the most out of our space (specifically for cooking meals), we did find ourselves wanting for more effective utensils, like scissors, sharper knives, and a dish drainer. That’s not to say, though, that we weren’t fully capable to make meals and do so comfortably! The shower pressure isn’t the strongest, and the hot/cold knobs are very sensitive. That was our only other observation, but we didn’t really hark on it since, again, we were right next to the ocean!

The place was super cozy, easy walk to the beach. The hot water in the shower did not work, so cold showers had to do… Hosts were not responsive through the app, and I wasn’t comfortable reaching out through text. Overall the stay was comfortable cute little duplex, couldn’t even hear any noise next door.

We were able to obtain our key easily and the unit had the AC running so it was already cool upon our arrival. The location is still convenient to beach access although the nearest location was closed due to hurricane damage. The unit was quiet with dedicated parking. Getting around NSB was easy. The unit has all the basic features, it met our needs. To be clear, this is a compact unit which while charming is just enough space. We still completely enjoyed our stay and had no difficulties except choosing the correct remote to use the TV's. I wish check out was at 11, not 10 AM, and we did need to sweep the floors after arrival, they were pretty dusty.

The perfectly-sized cottage for having a great place to sleep and eat, but spend your time at the beach. Great location in New Smyrna with easy parking. You are close to A1A, so traffic noise is a thing, but you can overlook it.

A very cute place, decorated extremely well. All redone inside to a lovely standard. Access to the ocean was fantastic, in a quiet neighborhood. Very well taken care of! Bravo!
